Friends

College years,
it is the most wonderful experience in a person's life. it is the time when we can actually find who is our best friend and who knows if we ever had the chance to seek out true love during the college years?

but love is not the main topic that i wanted to talk on this post.
it is about friends,best friends.

best friend is hard to find, yet it is hard to forget them when we are separated.
usually,we will having a best friend without being noticed it.
it is totally rare and quite awkward to say " hey dude,i am ur best friend aren't i?"
though the title 'bestfriend' is just like a involuntary action in our friendship.

A best friend will never let us walk alone. they care about us and they usually help our problems till it is solved.
in my freshman year in college,i meant this year, i had a group of best friends.

we spent our time together day and night, laughing, talking and even sharing problems.
we might been separated by different states in our hometown, but they are always stay in my heart. they were they whenever i need help, they were there whenever i need someone to laugh at my jokes and they even there when i need someone to teach me some lessons that i dont even understand what my lecture's babbling about during the lecture's hour.

we also did some recent activities together.
sometimes,we collect moeny from each of us and went fora vacation.

i still remember the night that we spent at Teluk Batik together.
it is still fresh in my mind.
it was one of the ramadhan's night, and we were having our break-fast in Manjung.
the restaurant is called Shabu-Shabu,and it is well known as one of the best place to have steamboats.

we pay only rm20 per head and it as much as we can though it was a buffet.
imagine it,a setamboat buffet!
so we eat, eat, and eat until we didn't realized that it was already passed 10 o' clock in the evening.

that one of us, pop out with an idea to continue the night at the beach in Teluk Batik.
we drove our car, okay i meant their car ( i am only a passenger) , to Teluk Batik at that night.

we were having so much fun, playing games that i never had the chance to play since i was six.

it was pepsi-cola,true or dare and also we put some pranks to each one of us.

i still can feel the cool sea breeze eventhough it had already passed fo days.
and i believe, this is one of the memories that i will cherished when we are graduated as a successful engineers.

friends,thank you.

The Eidipendence Day

31st august 2011,every Malaysian is looking forward to celebrate the day. It is the first time ever that we will celebrate both eid day and malaysia’s independence’s day on the same time. Eid day,or it is well known as “Hari Raya Aidilfitri” is a muslim celebration of a year as symbol of winning to fighting the lust and the hunger during the Ramadhan. Mostly, majority of muslims are Malays. But this year,we will celebrate Hari Raya as a peaceful country with the rest of races in Malaysia.

Malaysia is a peaceful and yet a unique country. It is consist of different races which are Malays,Indians and Chinese. Our sixth prime minister had combine us with a beautiful slogan, which is called “One Malaysia” . We had live with different races, peacefully, for almost 55 years without fighting each others, and that makes what Malaysia so special about.

This year,I am not only excited to celebrate the Eid Day,I also interested to join the marching band and wave Jalur Gemilang flag in my baju melayu. I am proud of my country and I believe this year’s Eid Day should be celebrated by the other races, like a family though we are standing under one nation,One Malaysia.

BIRTHDAY !!!

Yup. Birthdays. The anniversary of you coming into the world.

Typically, on this joyous and special day, most of us would expect people to flood our Facebook walls with happy birthday wishes, some birthday wish text messages, cake, presents, food and some more cake. The day would be all about the person who was born on that day.

That's what most of us would expect. Admit it, if not one person wished you "happy birthday" on your birthday, you would get pretty pissed (or really sad, depending on what kind of person you are). If your boyfriend didn't remember your birthday, it would be a good enough reason for you to break up with him. If not one person posted a "HB :D" on your wall (because you decided to test your friends by not revealing your birth date on your profile), in the middle of the night, you would post a status along the lines of "Thanks A LOT guys. Now I know how much I'm appreciated. Don't bother saying sorry to me tomorrow. You're all dead to me." Or something like that.

But let's take a step back and think about this for a second people. Shouldn't anniversary celebrations be about our victories or past achievements? Don't we celebrate Merdeka Day to remember the past struggles of our forefathers in gaining our independence? When we were born, what did we achieve? What did we do that was SO important that it had to be remembered year after year? What did we do on that day that deserved , even demanded annual congratulatory wishes from others?

Isn't the most deserved person to be celebrated during our birthday is the "heroine" herself? The one who struggled for 9 months and 10 days with the extra 'luggage' in her tummy, yeah, her. The person who cheated death while delivering the baby. The one who suffered bruises and cuts just to make sure that her labour of love see the light 'at the end of the tunnel'. Even if the doctor delivering the baby asks her "Ma'am, the situation is critical. We can only either save the baby or save the mother. Whom might we choose, Ma'am?" and without even a pause to think she would answer "SAVE MY BABY PLEASE!!". Isn't this is the real "heroine"? Don't you think that we should remember her the most each time our birthday comes a calling? Doesn't SHE deserves our accolades the most?
So, if our next birthday comes by, (note that it's an "if", not a "when") instead of asking her for gifts or treats at the nearest Resipi Rahsia or Market Ikan Manhattan, stop to think about it. Who is the most deserving person to receive a gift? Who should be given a cake and treated to their favourite meal instead?

Let's think about it.

May peace be upon you.

Cheers!

ME

I have many friends - from childhood friends, to friends that I make in schools, to friends that I make in my career life and to friends whom I make through my social circle.

But I admit true friends are hard to come by.

Somehow, there are only certain friends whom I will feel comfortable to confide in and who reciprocally will be there to show their concerns, care and happiness, no matter “rain or shine”.

Sometimes, we long for the listening ears and advices of our close friends more than that of our family members.

Here is one of those meaningful songs that strike a chord in my heart.

It reminds me of those few true friends who have walked my life with me in my darkest days.

It is real that we get to realise who our true friends are when we survive those storms in life.

To these great friends of mine - Thank you friends, thank you for being there for me although we are finding it hard to meet up often - now that we have our families.

We were given two hands, two legs, two eyes but only one heart. Why? It is because the 'other' heart is provided for us to search by ourselves. One of the biggest decisions that we have to make in our life is choosing our life partner. Everyone has to make their own decision but only some makes it right. So, choose carefully.
One of the biggest criteria that you have to put into your intentions is looks and appearance. Every human is different in each person. One may be a gorgeous and handsome for one and in a meantime they could be ugly and horrible in others eye. Basically, it depends and very subjective. But, a true partner is the one who accept you as the way you are!
The second most important thing must be inserted into your consideration is the similarity and differences between both of you. In order to live happily ever after, you must enjoy every single thing that you did together. A thing that you like is not always the same thing that she likes. Maybe you like to hang out and spending times chit-chatting at a ‘mamak’ stall with her, but she doesn’t like to do that because she is not feeling comfortable with the atmosphere there. And perhaps she prefers to walk in a mall and do window shopping. In order to overcome this problem, you need to spend time together and try to understand each other more.
Next are wealth and descendants. Maybe you think that this aspect should not be including into justification, but trust me, it is very important. If you want to get into relationship with a girl, you must first know her background whether she is from a rich family of a medium family. Get to know his parents and relatives and get used to them, so that you would not get into trouble later.

All in all. Perfect soul mate does not mean to be perfect in all aspect. Compare your choices but never play other’s feelings. Choose carefully and go through each aspect. Hope that we will found our perfect partner for the entire of our life. A good girl is meant for gentleman and vice versa.

BBQ NIGHT

this is the experince i like to share with all, a barbeque that we held at Teluk Batik near lumut. This is how it all started, at first we were not so sure to held a barbeque or not, and then we all put aside our differences and held a meeting the night before the event. Then, we decided that we going to do it at lumut but we are not so sure were exactly where it is, i know is in lumut, but lumut is pretty big place. so the night before the event, some of the guys have a wild idea to scout the place near lumut for the event to held. at that time it was about 3 o'clock in the morning, we just went into the car and just drive the. oh at that time we have extra food from our iftar, for thos ewho doesn't know what iftar is, it is where we break fast in group, so we bring that along so we can have our own pre-barbeque. haha. so we scout the place and found the right spot to the event, which is teluk batik.

Then, it was the day of the incident. It was exhausting how a simple yet annoying a test can be. Chemistry 1 was damn hard. As fast as lightning, dashed to Teluk Batik to have our own BBQ. The first to head there was Adib, Aiman, Mister Pijo, and the brain of this event, Zulhusni. Also known as The Mazda Team(because they went in Mazda 3). It was as we planned. The Mazda Team set up the place and started to barbequed the food. It took a long time to started the fire. Later that evening, rest of the gang arrived to start the party.

Chicken, clam, corn, hot dog, all of it ended on the grill and was barbequed. Rafiqah, whom all of us assumed had never cook in her entire life, doesn't even know how to barbeque a hot dog. That was just for starter. What comes next was the real party.

After the fine dine, we, I mean all of us went for a light walk along the beach. As little did rafiqah knew, she will be covered in white at the end of the night. Hahahaha. It was hilarious,
exactly 12 midnight, Aiman, Zulhusni Alias, chased Rafiqah and covered her in baking flour.
For those of us who were there, what came next was the highlight of our stay in UTP.

With our head full of endorphin, we went back to UTP with our full belly and when straigth to bed.

Warning! A Very Rugby Post (Communication)

Communication has always been a problem when we are doing something in a group. The message that we are trying to deliver may be interpreted wrongly by the other person. In this case, communication is important in playing as a team. This has been an issue in any team I've played. Since rugby is very much a team sport, communication plays a huge role in the game. But when I say communication here, I'm not saying that we need to talk about what we had lunch yesterday on the field. I mean meaningful, in the moment, specific communication like "I'll take the scrum-half!", "That's your man!" and "Ruck it out!"

Here, I'll list down a few reasons why meaningful communication is THAT big a deal to me while playing rugby (or any team sport, for that matter):

1. It helps the team get organized. Especially when defending, when we let our team mates know who we've marked, they can mark another guy instead of having two guys marking the same person, increasing the chances of the opponent of getting an extra man on the wing. When attacking, we can know exactly how much support we have and the options that are available to us in order to make an informed decision of how to play the ball.

2. It helps the team focus. When we're voicing out what we're doing and what we're going to do, we're actually reminding our team mates and also ourselves about what we're going to do, so we'll focus more on the task at hand. If we were to stay silent, it would be very easy for us to stray in our thoughts and lose focus in a game. We don't think about how we're going to perform then and there, we'll start thinking about the result, about a cute girl standing on the sidelines rooting for his boyfriend, wondering why she even bothered to come because they're not even married yet. (No I don't think about these things. Because I communicate in games.)

3. It intimidates the opposition (why does a certain de-facto leader spring to mind? Oh well, never mind.) When you're up against a team that are frequently communicating with each other, you can't help but feel a little unsettled. You just get drowned by their meaningful noise, as they sound confident and fit. Yes, when you communicate a lot, your opponent will think that you're fit, even though inside you're panting more than a dog on heat. So communicate, it'll make you fitter (in your opponent's eyes, at least).

So those are some of the reasons why I think communication is integral in rugby or any other team sport. Of course, there are several other reasons, but those are more situational (is that even a word?) and can only be said on the field with the ball in hand.

I'm praying that all will be fine in Melbourne and that our team will do great. Think about your performance first, and the result will come. Think about your results too much, and your performance shall suffer. Wise words from a wise man. (Sir Noor Azman Zainol)

May peace be upon all of you.

Cheers!

The conclusion The conclusion is this movie very enjoyable movie especially the music. As Mr Razol said the music is main element of this short story. The music give mood and let the audiences hear how well they are. So i'm totally enjoy the movie. That all for now. Thank You!

HARI RAYA FESTIVAL

Hari Raya Puasa will be celebrated by the Muslims after one month of fasting. Me and family as a Muslim, Hari Raya Puasa is a special day to celebrate after they have gone through fasting for a month from foods and drinks from Subuh until Maghrib. This festival will be celebrated for a month either. In Malaysia, we can see the Muslims early prepared for the becoming special day. They decorates their house, buying new clothes, and making many types of food and cookies for the special day. We can see that the shopping complex, groceries, and other shop will be crowded by the Muslims as they were preparing to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa. For me, Hari Raya Puasa is a common thing now because the enjoyment of this raya only feels when I was a little gurl. I take Hari Raya Puasa as a small festive because for now, the important thing for me is to discover a lot of new thing including my study but it doesn’t mean that I'm forgetting or not celebrating this festival . We can only celebrate it as a normal festival.

The night before the special day arrived my family and I , as usual a lot of activities happen same as the other festival. I can see my parent and my grandmother will busy making delicious food, while the my little brother were enjoying themselve playing fire crackers with other family members. The house which is located far from the town especially, which is a village, will be decorated with what we called `pelita’ around the house. It has been found that such activities is a legacy. Pelita is made up from bamboo stick actually, but nowadays people had invented a new kind of pelita which is made from plastic that is safe to used.

Furthermore, I can see a lot of delicious, variety and mouth watering food when the festival arrived. For example, the main menu for Muslims is ketupat, lemang, and other food that will make someone have a big intention to eat. There are also delicious hand-made biscuits or cakes. We will be able to discovered all kinds of food when we go to other people or our family members house. During Raya, someone will be able to gain weight drastically due to the intake of lots of variety food. Trust me. Moreover, there must be an event that we called an open house that will be held by the Muslims. The event helps to strengthen the relationship between family members after not seeing each other for a long period of time and between Malaysians in order to achieve the 1 Malaysia that has been planned by our Prime Minister. I also can see people with different kind of races will be visiting their Muslims neighbours house to celebrate together the special day. I hope that Malaysian people can maintain that style.

Lastly, as I can see Muslims celebrate their festival that is Hari Raya with a lot of joy and colorful day, same goes with other festival. Every festival have their own speciality. I hope that from the coming years, Hari Raya Puasa will be celebrated more happening as I’ve done my job as a student. Aminn.

VANDALISM

Vandalism...nowadays case of vandalism become more our country.Teenagers nowadays become morebrave to do a vandalism.Such a horrible things, damage other peoples things. Before I come further about this vandalism.I would like to explain the meaning of vandalism.Vandalism is the behaviour attributed to the Vandals, by the Romans, in respect of culture, ruthless destruction or spoiling of anything beautiful or venerable The example of the action includes criminal damage, defacement, graffiti and crass erection of an eyesore.

I feel so angry and anxious, why they do something like that. They feel that destruction of public or private property is the usual things.like they didn't feel guilty about this. They just want to have fun with others, but they didn't think what might others feel about them. Can't they think on their own.uhhh such a horrible think.Example of vandalisme,This toilet has been sprayed over with graffiti. Though the toilets haven’t been destroyed, graffiti is also vandalism. Opinions about graffiti are divided. The younger generations often like the texts and drawings that are sprayed everywhere on the walls, doors and floors. Some people might think that this is an art and some people think this is a vandalism. When you are caught red-handed on the committing of vandalism by the police they will most certainly arrest you, and you either have to pay a fine or get a task sentence. You don’t have to expect that you can elude your sentence when you are arrested for vandalism, because you have destroyed things which don’t belong to you, and you will have to pay for it.

Teenagers especially students are the most people who are distribute into the vandalism. Why are some students becoming vandals? That’s a question that’s questioned many times. There are a few reasons. Some people were bullied in the past en are looking for something they can do to let their feelings out of themselves. But the most attentive reason is ‘bad friends’. Some friends, who’re already vandals, can affect their friends who don’t vandalise. If this non-vandal friend isn’t unsure about himself or herself, it’s very easy to affect him or her. They don’t tell their parents what they are up to, because they think it’s a bit embarrassing, but that isn’t at all. You should say ‘no’ to bad friends who are affecting you. That is the only way to avoid to become a vandal. The other reason are damage (the vandal sees something which is already damaged and gets the tend to damage it more),emotional reasons (the vandal is committing the crime because he’s angry, stressed out or extremely depressed and he vents it into something),boredom (the vandal has nothing else to do and the rest follows), and last but not least is vandalism in a group (the vandal is forced to commit the vandalism in order to stay in the group he’s member of and that’s how it begins

Vandalism in school can be reduce by reducing the tendency for committing such thing. The only way to do this is by making sure he or she has no reasons to do it. I also think that vandalism can be reduce by you can take the vandal to a psychiatrist. He or she will ask the vandal some questions and, eventually, come with an answer to help him or her. After that,to reducing the vandalism by damage is actually quite easy to do, but it’s really expensive. Repairing the damage before the vandal can worsen it is the best way to get the job done.

Furthermore,Vandalism by boredom is not so hard either, because there’s always something to do except this. As long as you want to do something. Then,to reduce vandalism in a group is a little harder to do, you just need to quit the membership in this group and you don’t need to do anything.

It will be a little difficult tthem. I hope by give the reasons and ways to avoid it.The vandalism in our country can be reduce,if we have the spirit and afford to do it especially the vandals.Their family and the loves ones have to hep them too.By this way,our country will be clean form vandalism.Thats all I guest..

the episode series 'how i meet your mother'

Before coming to UTP, i never heard about this eposide series this before 'How i met your mother'. well since i never haved astro starworld channel. so sad. Usually when us guys get bored, we just simply open the computer and turn the show. this episode continue until season 7, which tell us about a guy name ted mosby telling his daughter and son about how he meet his mother.

this is about a guy searching for the one truth love in the big apple city, New York. The story begins in 2005 with Ted as a single, 27-year-old architect living with his two best friends from college; Marshall, a law student, and Lily a kindergarden teacher, and an aspiring artist. Lily and Marshall have been dating for almost nine years when Marshall finally proposes. Their engagement causes Ted to think about marriage and finding his soul mate, much to the disgust of his self-appointed best friend Barney ,whom he met in the restroom at a bar. Barney is a serial womenizer who concocts elaborate con games, usually involving costumes and fake identities, designed to bed women he discards immediately afterward.

Ted begins his search for his perfect soul mate and meets an ambitious young reporter from Canada, Robin with whom he quickly falls in love. Robin, however, doesn't want to rush into a relationship and the two decide to be friends. Future Ted reveals that Robin is not the mother after referring to her as his children's "aunt Robin".

Meanwhile, Lily begins to wonder if she's missed any opportunities because of her relationship with Marshall, and decides to pursue an art fellowship in san frasisco, breaking up with Marshall in the process. The season ends with Ted coming back to the apartment, the morning after spending the night with Robin for the first time, to find Marshall sitting in the rain with Lily's engagement ring, devastated by their sudden break up.

MY WIFE TO BE???

Easy come, easy go.The tragedy happened to me as I was to furious to know someone deeply instantly.Yes,she was looking too good for me as she can be described as second Lisa Surihani – Malaysian’s men dream girl. She got a long, black, and curly hair, got a body shape that can make no men to not miss the chance to make a deep observation towards her.And beside all of this, the best thing that I can said is ‘She’s in love in me’.

Karimah Aliyah, the best name ever owned by woman in this world.Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength while loving someone deeply gives you courage. Our love really makes my life filled with happiness.Karimah said the same thing to me.’Dear,I’m really feel too fortunate and too happy to be someone in your heart.’’she said to me when our date in Berjaya Times Square. With pleasure,I gave her all the things she wants to get.As for me,my salary as an engineer in PETRONAS make her wishes to own all the things in this world to come true.

One day,she asked me to hang out with her in Pavillion in Kuala Lumpur. She pulled me to from the ground floor to fourth floor.Swarovski crystal boutique.Oh no,my wallet gonna be empty again.I can heard my money flying away as I knew that my lover’s wishes must be fulfilled.Unfortunately, she picked the most extravagant necklaces with the 27 carat crystal attached on it.My salary for this month just burned like to satisfy his material desires.Thats only one of example how she using me to fulfill her absurd needs. Not only Swarovski necklace, another ‘gifts’ I ever gave to her were Gucci’s handbag,Armani’s blouse and even Victoria’s Secrets!.

But,no one knows, every actions have their own effects.Began to feel that my youngster will come to the end,my parents began forced me to find my own future wife-to-be.Yeah,I have my own choice.Seems that Karimah was the best ever choices I had. So,I made my own decision to take her to meet with my parents. The time that I told her to make a new steps in our relationship, she began to feel uncomfortable.Seems that she was trying to hide something from me.’Dear,I think that this is not the right time for me to meet your papa and mama.’says Karimah.’But why you said like that? I think that 4 years age of our relationship is enough already to set up a new life and a new stage in our life.Don’t you think that we waiting too long for our marriage?’I replied with anxiety.’Dear, actually I have something to share with you.I hope that what I’m trying to say is reality that you can accept with opened heart.’she replied.

‘What!???are you lied to me?It can’t be the truth.’I shouted. At that moment,I left her alone at car park, and I drove my car instantenously trying to make myself far from her.I never accept that statement when she said she never be the suitable girl for me.The moment ‘she’ said ‘her’ real name was Karim Ali just make my heart bombing out that time. From that moment,I set up my mind to not find another girl as my wife as I’m afraid that I will find another ‘Karimah’ next time.

ONE MAN BAND...

First thing that I want to say is this movie is awesome and I enjoy watch it. So this is a short review about the story. The short Pixar cartoon film doesn't portray much character but just 3 of them, a little girl who just stepped in to the city and the duo who are musicians. One very significant element in the short film is irony. The first ironic part of the film is the battle between the two One Man Band. At first, both of them are just showing their basic skills to attract the girl so that the girl would pay them the one penny. But then when the competition goes on, they have to show out their ultimate talents that is playing a whole band to impress her. It doesn't impress the girl but instead frightened her, causing her to lose the coin off into the drain.

The second part which i find interesting and ironic is when the girl take over the violin and play it, immediately after that, she gets a whole bag of coins, probably gold coins. Oh my, she is just a little girl and her talent surpass both the One Man Band. What an ironic plot you could expect. Therefore, i truly enjoy this animation film...

Can music change the way we think and act??

Recently i have been listening to many genre of music and somehow this question pop up in my head...."can music really change the way we think and act?" .Personally i think it can .
Music influences the way you feel, and that in turn influences the way you think and thus the way you act. For example, when you're feeling a bit down, you can put on your favourite music and presto!: you feel better and are more inclined to take on something. This is the way music is used in films, but perhaps an even better example would be corporate video and commercials, where the makers want you to act in a certain way. Using the right music greatly enhances their chances to achieve their objectives. This by the way shows why using "stock music" on corporate videos is generally a bad idea since it's generic and doesn't target the audience's emotions like specifically composed music can. Also, it often forces the editor to adapt his cuts to this generic music, which detracts from the efficiency even more

However, I do think that in order to have an effect on feelings, thoughts and actions, the music should relate to the person hearing it. If the idiom of the music is too foreign to the listener, it will fail to have an effect. Maybe that's why "contemporary classic" and avant-garde jazz do not affect the general audiences that much. The goal of that kind of music is to explore artistic boundaries, which is a different matter alltogether. But composers should be aware of this, I think, since either way it will affect feelings. Also, think about this the next time you put on some music. If you want to achieve a certain goal, you might want to put on a certain type of music! What are your thoughts?

Introduction to cars

INTRODUCTION TO CARS

The basics: steering and suspension

Millions of people wake up in the morning, grab a cup of coffee and drive off to work, without stopping to think, 'how does my car work'? Most of the time that question comes as, 'why doesn't my car work?' The way to stay informed is to read up on the subject. Life would be very hard without cars, so it is a good idea to be somewhat knowledgeable on how our car works.

There are many different systems in cars, but they can be broken down into 7 sub-systems. Those systems are steering, suspension, drive train, emissions, brakes, electronics, and safety. These can also be broken up into smaller sub systems but I leave for my fellow friends to search for it.

Lets start with steering, the system that allows your vehicle to turn. It consists of many parts, which vary depending on what type of steering your vehicle has. Lets start with the parts they all have, which would be the steering wheel, the inner tie rods, and the outer tie rods. (also known as tie rod ends) Inner tie rods connect the power steering unit to the outer tie rod ends, which directly connect to the wheel. The power steering unit, or rack, can be of differing types, it can be hydraulic, which is traditional, electric, which is seen more on newer cars and hybrid cars, or not have one at all, manual steering on older cars and trucks. The steering wheel is connected to a universal joint in the middle of two shafts. A universal joint allows the shaft to spin and be at an angle at the same time, it acts kind of like your wrist, this allows the steering wheel to be tilted to fit the driver properly and saves space. The other end of this would connect to the rack. Most people have hydraulic power steering and those need to have fluid added to them occasionally, especially if they whine.

The next system would be the suspension. There are many different types of suspension setups for many different vehicles. I will go over two different types here, basic suspension on a mid-size car, (Ford Taurus, Chevy Cavalier) and suspension on 4 wheel drive (or 4wd) trucks. On the mid-size cars there are less over all parts. The main part would be the strut assembly. They consist of a spring, a strut, and an upper strut mount, the strut is a shock absorber that has the spring mounted to it to save space. The upper strut mount bolts directly to the body, and has a bearing in it to allow it to rotate when the wheel turns. The strut is bolted on top to the body of the car and to the steering knuckle on the bottom. The steering knuckle is where the wheel hub is located and the wheel is bolted on to. The wheel hub also has the brake assembly bolted to it. The steering knuckle also has the outer tie rod end connected to it so the wheel can turn. The bottom of the steering knuckle is bolted to a ball joint, which allows the steering knuckle to rotate and move. And the ball joint is connected to the lower control arm, which allows the suspension to go up and down. Before i start talking about truck suspension, let me explain about shocks, struts, and springs. Shocks and struts serve the same purpose, keep the tire in contact with the road. If cars did not have shocks, they would bounce every time the smallest bump was hit. They slow down the movement up and down to give a smoother ride. Springs are there to keep the vehicle up, to support it. They also absorb shock, to keep the car ride smooth, but without the shocks there to slow them down, it would be a very bumpy bouncy ride. Four wheel drive trucks have many different suspensions depending on how their drive train is set up. The rear is the simplest on a solid axle rear end, which means the axle casing goes from wheel to wheel. The springs are mounted on the casing, and the shocks are mounted to the casing also. The axle is held on in differing ways depending on the manufacturer. In the front it is very different from a car. The shocks and springs are separate, unlike a strut assembly. There is an upper control arm and ball joint where the strut would have mounted. The tie rod end and the ball joints still connect to the steering knuckle. There may be a sway bar, which is a long metal rod which goes from side to side and connects to the steering knuckle or strut with sway bar links. This lessens the amount of body roll which allows for better handling and more safety.
